The first-person shooter game Halo Infinite was created by 343 Industries and released by Xbox Game Studios in 2021. After Halo 5: Guardians (2015), it is the sixth popular entry in the Halo franchise. The story of the game centers on Master Chief, a human super soldier, and his battle against the Banished, a mercenary group, on the Forerunner ringworld Zeta Halo. In contrast to other core entries in the series, the game’s multiplayer component is available for free.
