Capcom is the developer and publisher of the 2021 survival horror game Resident Evil Village. It is the tenth major Resident Evil game in the series and a sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017). As they navigate a hamlet overrun with mutant animals in quest of his abducted daughter, players assume control of Ethan Winters. Village keeps the survival horror elements of earlier games, having players manage resources and explore locations for goods, but it also introduces more action-packed gameplay with more focus on battle and a bigger number of enemies.
