How to Find the Stained Glass Puzzle | Ceremonial Weapons Bg3 Location

After you finish the wilderness portion of the story, you can enter the monastery. Take these actions:

• Proceed toward the Mountain Pass. Since players of level 5 and over are best suited for this location, we strongly advise completing side objectives to get over the threshold before moving on.
• Proceed north in the direction of Rosymorn Monastery from here. You may use a cable lift, which requires a strength check, or walk there.
• Navigate the monastery grounds and defeat the kobolds. Go around the edges and parkour up the cliff to reach the second floor.
• You will arrive to the Stained-Glass puzzle after passing through the ornate chamber.

Try reloading the save file if players have recently saved the game and have already interacted with the Addled Frog. Unfortunately, Auntie Ethel’s suffering is making the poor creature lash out at everything. Returning later is the only chance to save the Addled Frog.

How Do You Solve the Stained Glass Puzzle?

To initiate a cutscene, approach the pedestal and interact with it. The cutscene will display the puzzle’s layout as well as the pieces you need to get. Your next assignment is to locate the missing ceremonial weapons that were last seen with the leaders of the monastery and return them to the altar. To solve the puzzle and get through, place these weapons on the appropriate altar slots.

The Rosymorn Monastery is scattered with the ceremonial weapons needed to solve the Stained-Glass puzzle. Use the steps below to locate these weapons:

1. Ceremonial Battle Axe Vaseid

• To begin, jump from the puzzle room’s east window and cross the balcony. You will then be in front of another window after parkour over the roots.
• The Guardian of Faith guards the weapon you require within the chamber. To get the first weapon, defeat him.
• Head back to the puzzle room.

2. Ceremonial Warhammer Seed

• Go outside after crossing the main hall from the puzzle room. Vines are hanging from the roof near the dilapidated stairs. To raise your head, climb them.
• The weapon is guarded by Ancient Giant Eagles who cross the roof.
• To obtain the second puzzle piece, defeat the enemies.

3. Ceremonial Mace Stockhold

• Climb down the vines and walk close to the roof’s edge.
• There’s a door opposite the vines. To leave the building from the southeast corner, go out the door and down the stairs.
• At the base of a hill, the building exits. Locate a monastery leader’s grave by exploring the hill.
• Finally, get the final weapon by digging the grave.

What to Do with Ceremonial Weapons Bg3

Return to the Stained Glass puzzle room with all of your weapons. To complete the puzzle, insert the weapons into the correct slots. Southwest pedestals are used for the Battle Axe, Northeast pedestals for the Warhammer, and Southeast pedestals for the Mace. This lets you advance in your quest and opens a recess in the chamber.

Getting under Rosymorn Monastery

Since you must finish the full Githyanki Creche plot, getting to this point will be challenging. You will arrive in the back room of the Creche after being given permission to view the Githyanki Inquisitor. To enter the underground section, you can either ignore the Githyanki Inquisitor and go left, or you can opt to defeat him.

Acquiring the Blood of Lathander

Once you’re down here, back of the room by figuring out the puzzles. The Blood of Lathander Legendary Mace is supposed to be on a pedestal here. To securely free the weapon from its confines and grab it, insert the Dawnmaster’s Crest you previously obtained into an open slot in the pedestal.

How to find the Ceremonial Weapons Bg3 in Baldur’s Gate 3

The Rosymorn Monastery has the Ceremonial Weapons at several locations. Before you continue the plot with the Githyanki, be sure you complete this puzzle because all three of them may be located before you ever enter Creche Y’llek.

Ceremonial Battleaxe location

The Ceremonial Battleaxe is located in the Rosymorn Monastery’s old dormitories. Find an Enchanted Door leading to a barricaded room by navigating around the center of the Monastery. To access the room, either approach it from a hole behind it or use a lockpick to remove the barricade. The Spirit Guardian will then emerge to guard the Ceremonial Battleaxe; defeat it. Defeat the Guardian and you should get your hands on the weapon.

Ceremonial Warhammer location

The Ceremonial Warhammer is located inside a Giant Eagle’s Nest on the roof of the Monastery. You can persuade the birds that you don’t mean any harm if you can speak with animals. Usually, though, the birds will attack you and you will have to defend yourself. You may defeat them as you choose because the combat isn’t very difficult. Once you take them out, you can simply grab the Ceremonial Warhammer and leave.

Ceremonial Mace location

Of the three, the Ceremonial Mace is most likely the simplest to overlook. This is because a Kobold who is intoxicated and can be found in the Firewine storage room at the base of the Monastery has stolen it. Any fire spell will ignite every barrel in this area, so be careful if you start a fight here. You may obtain the Ceremonial Mace by defeating the right Kobold.

Just pass the area where you obtained the Ceremonial Battleaxe if you decide to go for the Rusty Mace instead. Then, to go to the lower levels, jump down the damaged stairs that are beyond the left door. The Rusty Mace is on the floor of the room where you enter after breaking past the first barricade you see to your left. Grab it and you should have the three weapons you need.

Where To Place All Ceremonial Weapons Bg3

Return to the stained glass room at the top of the Crèche with the Warhammer and Battleaxe. Place, throw, or drag and drop the Battleaxe on the pedestal to the southwest and the Warhammer on the pedestal to the northeast, following the images in the stained glass. Only one pedestal remains as a result.

This last pedestal is the one that matches the glass’s broken portion. Any weapon will do here, even if the other pedestals require ceremonial weapons. A secret door should open when you place any common weapon on the pedestal, advancing the quest to the next stage. The Dawnmaster’s Crest, which will be used later in the quest, is in a bag behind this door. You can find Baldur’s Gate 3’s Legendary Blood of Lathander by carrying it farther into the Crèche.
